Labor inspections and mandatory time records
In Spain, recording working hours has been mandatory for all staff, including remote workers, since 2019. If the Labor Inspectorate asks for the last four years of clock-in records and all you have is a sheet signed at the end of each month, the fine can range from €751 to €7,500 per company.
