Stripe Billing integration for subscriptions

Predictable recurring revenue and less churn

Stripe Billing Flexible pricing Failed payment recovery Connected to your systems Custom-built

We build robust subscription billing platforms with Stripe Billing: flexible pricing (usage-based, per user or tiered plans), painless plan changes, automatic recovery of failed payments and automatic reconciliation with your business management system (ERP).

The problem

Where your recurring revenue is leaking

Four common leaks at subscription software companies whose billing isn't built to scale.

01

Involuntary churn from declined cards

5–10% of your recurring charges fail every month. Without smart retries or automatic customer notifications, those customers leave — and they never should have.

02

Changing your pricing becomes a whole project

When you want to add a plan, raise prices or test usage-based billing, you have to touch a dozen places. Growth stalls because every change takes weeks.

03

Upgrades and downgrades without clear rules

Prorated charges, legacy discounts and outstanding balances nobody keeps track of. Support fixes cases by hand, and finance can't tell what is being charged or why.

04

Bank reconciliation that never adds up

Every month someone spends days matching what Stripe says with what the ERP says. And there are always differences nobody can explain.

Pricing models

Four proven SaaS monetization models

Stripe Billing supports any combination. We work with you to choose the model that best fits your product and your market.

Per-seat (per user)

You charge for active users. The classic B2B model, ideal when value grows with the team.

Usage-based

You charge for actual consumption (requests, gigabytes, AI calls). Easy to test early on, and it grows with the customer.

Tiered

Free / Starter / Pro / Enterprise. Predictable pricing that's easy to communicate.

Hybrid (base + usage)

A fixed fee plus a usage-based component. The best of both worlds for modern SaaS products.

How we implement it

From idea to recurring revenue in five steps

A proven process to integrate Stripe Billing without breaking what you already have, leaving operations ready to scale.

01

Catalog

Products, prices and rules in Stripe. Multi-currency and pricing models.

02

Checkout

Stripe Checkout or Elements built into your app. Customer portal ready to go.

03

Webhooks

Critical events handled idempotently, with robust retries.

04

Dunning

Smart retries, staggered emails and payment recovery.

05

Reporting

Monthly and annual revenue, cancellations and customer value in your dashboard, automatically reconciled with your ERP.

Churn reduction

Tactics that quietly win back revenue

Four mechanisms we switch on in your platform to recover payments you would otherwise lose every month.

Smart retries

Retries at the right moment

Stripe works out when the card is most likely to go through and retries the charge at the optimal moment — not simply after 24 hours.

Grace periods

Configurable grace periods

Customers don't lose access instantly. A configurable window to sort out the payment without friction or hasty cancellations.

Recovery emails

Payment recovery emails

A staggered sequence with the right tone and a direct link to the payment portal. Designed to win customers back, not drive them away.

Proration

Upgrades and proration

Fair proration logic when customers change plans or seats. Charges and credits calculated to the cent and shown on the invoice.

FAQ

Common questions about Stripe Billing

How much does a Stripe Billing integration cost?

It depends on your plans, subscription flows, currencies and integrations. We scope checkout, webhooks and the customer portal in a fixed-price proposal.

What about customers on other payment gateways?

We migrate from Redsys (the Spanish card payment gateway), PayPal, Chargebee or Recurly. We keep the current billing period intact and switch over without interruption.

What about reconciliation with my ERP?

Yes. Every Stripe invoice creates or links to the matching invoice in your ERP (Dolibarr, Odoo, FacturaScripts, Sage, Holded). Accounting reconciliation is automated.

Does it comply with Verifactu and Spanish regulations?

Yes. We generate the legal invoice in your Spanish ERP (Facturae e-invoices, Verifactu — Spain's new invoicing compliance system — and Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) forms), synced with the Stripe transaction.

Can I set different pricing by country?

Yes. Multi-currency, country-specific taxes (Stripe Tax or your own tax engine) and geographic pricing rules are standard.

Ready to make your MRR predictable?
